Brooke Mathis is a double alum of Western Carolina University. In 2016, she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in accounting, and in 2017 with a Masters of Accountancy. Upon graduating, Brooke worked at a top 20 regional accounting firm where she was a member of the assurance team, auditing healthcare and not-for-profit organizations.
Currently, Brooke is an adjunct instructor in the Dixon Hughes Goodman Accountancy Program at WCU. On weekends, she enjoys helping a local venue coordinator with planning and organizing events. Brooke’s experience in accounting, especially with nonprofits and with her own family business, have provided her with unique insight related to small to mid-size businesses, particularly those here in WNC. She would love to work with you on a variety of managerial and operational projects, from boosting employee morale to evaluating quarterly reports.
