WCU’s CEI provides a wide range of consulting services to businesses throughout the western North Carolina region. Our consulting solutions include strategic planning, business development, leadership training and coaching, business plan development, new business start-up, research & reports for decision-making, new product development, and technical services.

WCU’s CEI has PhD faculty and experienced industry professionals available to help you with various business needs. Many of our faculty experienced highly successful careers in senior management with a great deal of international experience. We are committed to regional economic development and your success which also coincides with the mission of the university.
CLIENTS
The College of Business at Western Carolina University is seeking business and organizational clients for our senior student Business Capstone Course. The course trains students to conduct marketing, competitive benchmarking, and industry research to provide selected clients with research-based, strategic plans, and recommendations for improving the sustainability of their organization.

WCU’s Corporation for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) provides faculty, staff and university services to assist your business with problem solving, testing, consulting services, and training.
In the past year, we assisted regional businesses with strategic planning, acquisition integration, DNA testing, chemical analysis, quality training, lean manufacturing training, leadership coaching, economic impact studies, marketing solutions, patent commercialization, financial analyses, and a host of other services. We also work closely with WCU’s Rapid Prototype Center to provide engineering and design services.
