Dr. Dent is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Western Carolina University. She teaches undergraduate marketing courses including digital marketing, principles of marketing, marketing technology, and digital branding. Dr. Dent has focused on digital marketing, branding and reputation, UX, and website design, in the business-to-business professional service sector for over 25 years, from the Fortune 50 to small business start-ups. She led the design and UX including a proprietary internal operations application, multiple mobile applications, a multi-application web platform, eCommerce, communication, ATS, and project management applications. She is certified in design thinking principles and social intelligence (social media research). Dr. Dent holds an MBA from UNC Pembroke, an MS in Digital Marketing at Florida International University, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Jacksonville University. Dr. Dent is available for digital marketing, social media, UX, and website consulting projects for clients throughout the mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
